Holy Cross Lutheran Church is pleased to provide warm loving care for your child while you attend worship services and Sunday School. The nursery is for children 0 – 36 months. We use a silent paging system to notify parents when they are needed.
We feel that a quality nursery is an important ministry of our church. Child care is provided for worship, educational opportunities, work area meetings, and other activities sponsored by Holy Cross as requested. Our nursery staff is a unique gift from God and will provide opportunities for each child to experience the love of God in a safe, age-appropriate environment.
When you bring your child to the nursery, you can help our workers by…
- Sharing any special needs or concerns that your child might have
- Providing a LABELED diaper bag with extra disposable diapers, fresh clothes, and any bottles, drinks or snacks your baby will need
- Bringing your child to church in a dry, clean diaper
AND
- Filling out the sign-in sheet before you leave the nursery and assisting your child with his/her transition into the nursery as needed
If your child cries when you drop him/her off, please don’t panic! Our workers will work with you to find the best way to comfort your child so you and your child can enjoy your time at church.
Please Note:
If anyone other than the person leaving the child will be picking up the child (mother, father, sibling, grandparent) let the staff know. For safety reasons, we will not let the child leave unless notified.
In order to provide a safe, healthy nursery for all our children, we ask parents to keep their baby or toddler at home anytime he/she has been ill within the previous 24 hours with colored drainage, fever, coughs, diarrhea, vomiting, etc.
Please contact Patti Scales if you need to change your dates or times.
