Lights For Christ
We are excited to sponsor 15 children in 2025. The “Lights For Christ” program provides these children with transportation, Christian education, and health care. The cost per child is about $1,680 a year and we need your help in raising the funds for all 15 students. Make sure to click the “I want to give to” area and select Guatemala!

Divine Savior
Divine Savior Church was one of the earliest Lutheran Churches established in the interior of Guatemala. In 1953 they added a day school in Zacapa and eventually a high school in 1978. Children’s Christian Concern Society (now Lead A Child) had its origin at this school.
Partnership
Holy Cross Lutheran Church & School began a partnership with Divine Savior Lutheran Church in Zacapa, Guatemala in 2013. This partnership has resulted in many programs, jointly funded and enacted, to help provide needed services, supplies, education and, most importantly, spread the Gospel message of Jesus Christ to those living in Zacapa.
