6:00-7:30 Family Activities (car show, mini golf and other games, ambulance, stem activities, flag display art project, temporary tattoo station, live eagle display, and more) (on or near soccer field)

6:25- Sweet Adelines (stage)

6:50-Children’s Choir (stage)

7:00- Bluegrass Band (stage)

7:30- Skydivers (soccer field)

7:40- Bagpipes (through crowd)

7:55- Parade of Nations (on sidewalk-from sanctuary to stage)

8:10- KC Flight formation team air show

8:30- Wichita Grand Opera Orchestra and Choir (stage)

9:30- Fireworks

These times are approximate and are subject to change

Water will be via bottle fillers, please bring your own water bottle.

Food trucks will be on site (for purchase)

You may also bring your own food and drink, no alcohol please.

Games & Activities: Family friendly activities like mini golf (provided by Mega Pines), yard games, live eagle display, Sedgwick County EMS display, as well as fun STEM acitivities will be available for you and your family to enjoy before the concert begins.

Holy Cross German Band: Enjoy music by our very own German band while you eat, view the car show, play games & enjoy the children’s activities.

Additional Musical acts include: a bluegrass band, Sweet Adelines, and a bagpipe ensemble.

Car Show: View an assortment of classic and unique cars.

Children Chorus: Join the children of HC as they lead us in classic patriotic sing along songs

Skydivers: Enjoy an aerial demonstration by local skydivers

Presentation of Colors by the Sons of the American Revolution

Air Show: KC Flight Formation team will perform a show in the skies your family is sure to enjoy

Parade of Nations: A parade of US citizens from other nations will lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance, helping us celebrate the many immigrants that have come to America seeking the God-given freedoms this event is created to celebrate.

Armed Forces Salute: A special tribute and speech honoring the men and women of our Armed Forces.

WGO Concert: Adult Choir with special guest soloists, accompanied by the incredible Wichita Grand Opera Orchestra.

Fireworks: A spectacular fireworks show presented by Stellar Fireworks

• Specific event parking details will be coming soon.  
• If you have a current handicap tag or are in need of assistance please come to the lot on the east side of Holy Cross (off Bristol) and speak to our Handicap Assistance team

• • This is a FREE community outreach event
  • Food trucks will be on site for purchasing food.  Feel free to bring outside food and drink. NO ALCOHOL is allowed.
  • Bring your chairs and blankets to relax and enjoy the event.
  • Please stay with your children at all times.  Family activity area is intended to be enjoyed together, as a family.  Please keep children away from the pond.  No fishing is allowed at this event.
  • Please no pets (except service animals).
  • Reminder: HC parking lots are closed to the public with the exception of those with an offical handicap placard.  Event parking will be off site.  Shuttles will be available to bring you to/from the event. Specific details coming soon.
  • Cars wanting to be a part of the car show must pre-register.  Please email Dean at 66sprint200@gmail.com for more information.
