Our four primary goals
Since God has richly blessed us with every spiritual and earthly gift we have, it is our privilege, as Luther says, “to thank and praise, serve and obey Him.” Also in response to His love and goodness, we seek to be a blessing to others around us. The leaders, members and staff of Holy Cross have heard God’s call to us to “Reach the Lost & Strengthen the Saved!”
It is our firm belief that God who is able to do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power at work within us” (Ephesians 3:20) will bless our efforts throughout the current capital campaign to accomplish the funding of these four primary goals which in turn will help us fulfill our calling to Reach the Lost and Strengthen the Saved.
Missions
Received to date: $182,547
- In thanks to God we will dedicate a tithe (10%) of all gifts received to missions and outreach.
- Reach out to the lost-in Wichita, across the USA and the world.
- Church Council is currently exploring new ways to enhance our ability to do mission work.
Eliminate Existing Debt
Goal: $668,865 / GOAL MET!!
- We were able to eliminate our mortgage payments of about $195,000 per year or 6.5% of the annual budget, giving the freedom to use these funds to Reach the Lost and Strengthen the Saved.
- Funds can now be redirected to serve the Savior, His Saints, our community and create new mission outreach.
Church Endowment
Received to date: $191,229
- Assists us in sustaining all Holy Cross ministries
- Will generate $30,000-$45,000 per year to fund current or additional missions, ministry and maintenance.
- A portion of this fund has already been used to improve audio, visual and lighting systems in our worship center.
Facility Improvement
Received to date: $358,196
- Funds to maintain, upkeep, enhance and improve present facilities.
- A portion of these funds will be used to establish a much needed “reserve fund” for unexpected ministry and facility needs.
- A portion of this fund has already been used to improve audio, visual and lighting systems in our worship center.

Dear Heavenly Father,
You have richly blessed us with every spiritual and earthly gift we have, and in response, it is our heart-felt desire to “thank and praise, serve and obey You.”
For nearly seventy-five years, You have blessed us to be a blessing to others. We have heard Your call for us to “Reach the Lost and Strengthen the Saved!” By Your grace and the power of Your Holy Spirit, equip, encourage, embolden and Bless us as we do so!
