This Bible study will continue to be an interactive study making use of the popular, groundbreaking, and much-acclaimed streaming television series: The Chosen-Season 3. Participants in this study will be guided on a journey through the life, ministry, and work of Jesus in a way that brings the Old and New Testaments to life in a fresh and new way.
Throughout their history, God rescued Israel again and again. His rescue served as a reminder that they were His beloved people, His Chosen People!
What does it mean to be “Chosen,” especially in a day and age when issues of identity are at the forefront of culture and a desire for purpose seems to reign supreme?
Join this Bible Class journey with Pastor Snow as we search the scriptures to see how the coming of the promised Messiah extends the status of “chosen” to all who respond to His call. That’s us! We are the chosen people of God!
Be sure to bring your own Bibles each week so that you can highlight and make notes for your own future reference and study!

This is a class you can pick up at any time: a study of the Gospel of John through the Greek. The Gospel of John is a great piece of Greek historical literature and a primary source document for our understanding of the life and words of Christ. John is one of the four extant and accepted Gospels. It is a Greek document written by John the Apostle, a man from the Hebrew culture who was an observant Jew and a disciple of Christ. In the overview of the Gospels we discovered that John is a thesis and logical argument—a logos to telos that was resolved through the signs followed by the resurrection of Christ. In John part 8, we will continue with the Greek basis for the Gospel and make an extensive cultural, social, linguistic, and historical study of it.

We will continue the study of Genesis with an emphasis on the authority of Scripture. We will learn of God’s perfect 6-day creation and His constructs for marriage and family. We will see how this perfection was fractured by man’s disobedience and explore God’s patience and wrath… why He destroyed the earth with a global flood. We will explore the covenant that God made with Noah’s family, and how His grace saved them… and still saves us today.
