40 Days for Life

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my Savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved!”

Psalm 18: 2-3

Knowing that “with God, all things are possible,” people of faith and conscience unite in 40 days of prayer during the national “40 Days for Life” campaign. Prayer keeps us rooted in the fact that it is our desire to carry out God’s will. The visible, public centerpiece of 40 Days for Life is a focused, 40-day, non-stop, round-the-clock prayer vigil outside a single Planned Parenthood center or other abortion facilities around the nation. It is a peaceful and educational presence. Those who are called to stand witness during this 24-hour-a-day presence send a powerful message to the community about the tragic reality of abortion.

40DFL will hold a special 2-day prayer vigil on Nov 30 and Dec 1 which has the specific purpose of praying for the Dobbs vs. Jackson Women’s Health Organization Supreme Court case.
Holy Cross Prayer Warriors will attend the event from 10-11 on Nov. 30

(if that time does not work with your schedule, you are encouraged to attend any time that you have available). Individuals committed to attending are Pastor Myers, Katie Nelson, Ann Harms,  & Tammy Alford.

Additional prayer opportunity Dec. 1 @ 3pm (Kim Gish will attend during this time)
