LWML

The mission of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League is to joyfully proclaim Christ, support missions, and equip women to honor God by serving others. This diverse group meets quarterly for fellowship & missionary work.  They also host our weekly coffee hour & the annual Women’s Retreat.  Learn more about LWML

Sewing Sisters

Join the ladies of our Sewing Sisters group in fellowship & service as they create items for those in need.  Including our Guatemalan Mission Team. All skill levels are welcome to attend,  just bring your machine. Fabric is provided.  They meet in the Crafts Room (next to the Church Library) on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the Month.  If you have questions, please contact Connilee Myers.

Talk & Tie

This group of ladies meets for fellowship, refreshments, and to tie fleece tie blankets for Lutheran World Relief.  These blankets are easy to make (bring scissors if you have them) and provide gifts of comfort and warmth to those in need.  Check the calendar for the next meeting

Fellowship Commission

The Fellowship Commission is the social group of Holy Cross! The commission implements most of the social activities of the church.  Among the events they prepare or serve are congregational potlucks, Easter breakfast & the annual church picnic. They also arrange events for Executive Staff appreciation each Fall, & milestone anniversaries among all staff each Spring.

New Member Meal Committee

Working under the umbrella of the Fellowship Commission, this group is responsible for preparing a meal each quarter for our new member reception.  Every 3 months we officially welcome all our new members into the congregation and have a luncheon to welcome them to the Holy Cross Family. The New Member Meal Committee prepares a buffet style meal for the families, our executive staff and elders.
