Engage Wichita

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Jeremiah 29:11

September 22 | 1-5pm

Lunch will be served at 1 pm.  Projects will follow.
All projects are expected to be done no later than 5pm.

We are equipped and empowered by God to go out and engage with the world around us.  We can think of no better way to “go and do likewise” (Luke 2:10) than to head out into the community and serve our neighbors.  During our upcoming church/school-wide day of service, Engage Wichita, we will work on diverse service projects at sites all across Wichita.  We hope to use this opportunity to get a little outside our comfort zones, be a blessing to our community, get to know new people, and use our hands and our hearts to reflect our Savior, Jesus.

To make this happen we need volunteers!!  Please use the form below to volunteer.  This helps us plan work sites and food/shirt orders.  Also, be sure to check out the details about service locations and let us know if you’d like to volunteer for a specific project site.

This project will have multiple locations around town and include yard clean up and minor contruction projects.

Supplies will be provided and there will be projects for people of all ages.  This is an “until it’s finised” project at Holy Cross, but volunteers may choose to work as much as their schedule allows.
