Note when these words were spoken – and the mention of Mt. Horeb. Who is the “you” in v.9, 14, 18; and “us” in v.19, etc.? How is Moses’ message to the people timeless? Why does Moses remind this new generation of all of this history? What appropriate accusations does Moses direct to the people?
