2 Timothy 2:1-13 Trustworthy Teachings (Take 2) –

Having already written this to Timothy, why does Paul write it again?  Note the “entrust to reliable men, qualified to teach others” for Timothy.  What is one of the major tasks of Pastors and teachers?  Soldier, athlete and farmer – what is Paul’s message?  How might God’s Word be “chained”?  (Martin Luther’s day, the Bible was chained to a table because it was so expensive and rare – what about today? How might it still be “chained”?)  What is the wonderful “surprise” in this “trustworthy saying”?
